Sahale Peak Pics

Got outta town today, drove South into The North Cascade Mountains of Washington and ran/scrambled to the top of Sahale Peak. It was truly a perfect day and an epic run!
5100 feet of elevation gain, with a class 4-5 scramble to the summit of just under 9,000 feet. 14m / 23km return in 3h19m…and eight hours of driving…but sooo worth it!!

Great view & pics! I did nearby Eldorado Peak a few weeks ago and had all but 10 feet of visibility, so it's nice to see what the area looks like. You must be getting your legs back under you from States!

-A beautiful area for sure!-Yes, how could one pass through the town of Concrete without pausing to take it all in!-Too bad the views weren't there, it is an incredible area-Coo, if the summit were big enough I woulda, instead I did a handstand, held it till I got dizzy, and then tried to run back down the scrambly bits of the climb!
